Moore Stephens expands presence in SA and NT

Moore Stephens Australia is pleased to announce it will be expanding its national presence in the South Australian and Northern Territory markets to meet growing client demand. From April 1, Hayes Knight South Australia and Northern Territory will be joining the Moore Stephens network as the new representatives of the respective locations.

Don Boyd, Moore Stephens Australia’s Non-‐Executive Chairman, stated: ‘To meet the growing demand of the market and our clients’ needs, Moore Stephens have made the decision to increase their presence and capability in South Australia and Northern Territory with new and experienced teams.’

The new South Australian and Northern Territory practices, currently part of the Hayes Knight network, offer increased capability and expertise across a range of services and industries.

Grant Miles, Managing Director of Hayes Knight South Australia and Northern Territory commented: ‘The Partners of our firm recognise that our clients and the market require a set of expertise and reach that we can now meet via our connection to the Moore Stephens international network.’

Moore Stephens has 299 firms operating in 657 offices within 106 countries and with annual fees income of almost $US2.7 billion.

Mr Miles stated that ‘for our staff and existing clients it is business as usual, with the added opportunities presented by an extensive international network”. Staff will have greater opportunities to work with likeminded professionals on a global scale, while clients will have the opportunity to tap into these added resources. Clients of the Hayes Knight South Australia and Northern Territory firms will continue to work with the same familiar faces with no changes to the firm’s servicing of its clients or management of its staff.’

The new Moore Stephens South Australia and Northern Territory firms will benefit from the added audit and assurance capability and expertise which will be transitioning from the existing Moore Stephens Adelaide firm to the new representative firms.

The Hayes Knight South Australia and Northern Territory firms, soon to be Moore Stephens South Australia and Northern Territory, comprise of 8 directors, over 40 staff and have a total revenue of $8 million.

This announcement follows the continued expansion of Moore Stephens within the Australian market. In 2015 UHY Haines Norton Perth merged with the Moore Stephens Perth office to further strengthen the

Moore Stephens brand and market position. This was followed by Nexia Melbourne joining the Moore Stephens network as its Victorian firm.
