1994 - 2003  Senior Audit Manager, Moore Stephens PM.  Jim has been involved in the leadership of the Audit and Business Assurance Division of the firm for 10 years, obtaining experience from a wide range of clients in a diverse range of industries.

1987 - 1994  Senior Auditor in Audit departments of several second tier Chartered Accounting firms in Adelaide. Involved in a wide range of public and private company audits, not for profit and charity type organisations, incorporated associations, superannuation funds, local government, government departments and statutory authorities.

In addition to the responsibilities obtained as Audit Director, Jim has been involved in the following audit assignments and professional roles:

Authorised Officer for the conduct of audit examinations on behalf of the Construction Industry Training Board including development of the CITB compliance audit program. 

Conduct of numerous special purpose internal control audits and agreed upon procedures for Not for Profits, Private Hospitals, Private and Government Schools, Clubs & Hotels including due diligence work for mergers and acquisitions by Property Investors & Environmental companies and Investigating accounting reports for Mining, Bio Tech and various Managed Schemes.

Member of the Moore Stephens Australia National Quality and Assurance Champion Groups which comprise audit specialists from each Moore Stephens network member for in Australia & New Zealand involved in all technical aspects relating to quality control and assurance.

Approved Mentor for the CA and CPA post graduate programs offered to candidates by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and the Certified Practising Accountants of Australia.
