Brett Cornwall is a corporate advisory and tax partner of Moore Stephens and is a fellow of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and New Zealand, and the Tax Institute of Australia. Brett is also a Chartered Tax Advisor. He has been practicing in these areas of expertise for nearly 30 years.

Brett provides tax expertise to clients and has also been involved in various transactional advice, including advising on a number of large and medium size mergers and acquisitions, conducted numerous valuations and due diligences and acts as independent expert in commercial and marital property litigation matters. Brett is on the business valuation panel of ANZ Bank.

Brett has extensive experience in strategic planning to small and medium businesses, including tax advising, risk assessment, asset protection, succession and estate planning, employee incentive programs, designing investor ready programs, purchase, sales and expansion of businesses and extracting shareholder value.

Brett has assisted the Institute of Chartered Accountants on a number of occasions including his position on the Institute’s panel of tax experts reviewing proposed changes to tax legislation and is a former board member of the WA Chapter of the Franchise Council.
