Professional Background

Dean joined the firm in July 2004 and is a Senior Manager in the Business Services Division.

His background has predominantly been in the Business Services and Tax Consulting divisions and has also worked for one of the Big Four firms providing advice to clients requiring International tax advice.

With 17 years experience in non-accounting roles in the Waste Management, Construction and Retail industries, Dean is able to apply the commercial knowledge gained in these industries to various clients of the firm and the Business Services Division he manages.

Through the completion of his taxation studies and practical experience, Dean has a strong knowledge of the various commercial issues and taxation legislation impacting on business, eg income tax, capital gains tax, goods and services tax etc, and uses the technical knowledge gained to ensure his clients receive practical and tax effective business solutions in all aspects of the clients needs.
