Professional Background

  Tusar has specialist international experience at the highest echelons.  These skills include a specialisation in Property Tax and GST and specifically the structuring of property developments and property groups in a commercial and tax effective manner.

His extensive experience in Australian Income Tax, gained through many years of employment in the Big Four Firms as an Income Tax Manager, gives him the special ability to structure projects and transactions in a manner that consolidates the income tax and GST consequences with the objectives of the client.

This experience has been utilised to establish and lead, arguably, the most successful Taxation Consulting Practice in the country specialising in property development. The Consulting Team includes personnel with comprehensive international credentials.

Tusar is also one of the leading advisers in the Retirement Village industry in respect of the income tax and GST effective structuring of commercial retirement villages.

His experiences and expertise in this area has been developed since 1999, as a consequence of his work with some of the largest private commercial retirement village developers in the country and more recently with some of the large public consolidators within the industry.

In addition to the above, Tusar has extensive experience in providing business advice, as well as being a sounding board to executives on various operational matters such as strategic planning, identification of potential business opportunities, financial aspects, third party negotiations and human resource management.
