As a graduate accountant, Mark commenced his career in the field of audit in a successful national practice situated in Perth, Western Australia. He returned to Adelaide in 1999 to complete his professional qualifications and gain knowledge and experience in taxation and business advisory services.

A 12 month secondment to a London-based firm associated with his Adelaide employer afforded Mark the opportunity to gain invaluable exposure to larger scale reporting entities and develop knowledge of foreign compliance regimes.

On returning to Australia, Mark pursued an interest in forensic accounting and litigation support, building upon the investigatory skills gained earlier in his career in the field of audit. He also commenced as a sole practitioner and Registered Tax Agent to a private client base, and was commissioned to the Australian Army Reserve as a Finance Officer on a part-time basis.

Mark’s specialisation as a forensic accountant coupled with his broader background developed in mainstream professional services enables him to offer the benefits of a sound business acumen and commercial astuteness along with highly developed and proven technical skills in all facets of the profession.

Together with the team at Moore Stephens, Mark provides a wealth of knowledge and experience that has been gained from providing comprehensive services to a wide range of clients over many years.  He has established a reputation for responsive, flexible, value for money services that can be tailored to suit any business need.
