Professional Background
Grant graduated from Deakin University in 1995, where he was awarded a Bachelor of Commerce degree before joining Moore Stephens. In his eleven years with Moore Stephens, Grant has worked on a diverse range of clients including:
- CPT Global Limited
- Centro Properties Group
- APN Property Group Limited
- Netwealth Investments Limited
- India Equities Fund Limited
- The Rabinov Diversified Property Trust
Grant's work is principally external audit related with particular expertise in the property, gaming and funds management industries and in authoring technical publications.
Grant has also gained extensive experience in conducting due diligence assignments on acquisitions, IPO's and other capital raisings both in Australia and Europe, including AIM in London. Other areas of expertise are property syndications, valuations and prospectus forecasting.
Since 2001, he has been responsible for the Moore Stephens national audit training and the publication of the assurance division's technical publications including, 'XYZ Model Financial Accounts'. In 2003, Grant set up the Moore Stephens IFRS Strategic Team and was instrumental in developing the methodology Moore Stephens uses for International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) projects.
After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 1998, Grant spent time at Moore Stephens London gaining experience in International Accounting and Auditing requirements including working in the Monaco and Latvia offices of Moore Stephens. In 2004, Grant became a partner of Moore Stephens and is lead partner responsible for the audit of CPT Global Ltd, On Q Group Limited, The Rabinov Diversified Property Trust and Netwealth Investments Limited.
