Ian has an extensive career in providing business, taxation and financial advice to many of Australia's leading private companies and high net worth individuals. He has a long track record of successfully managing and growing portfolios and business profitability through meticulous analysis and decision making, and takes the time to understand his client's needs and objectives through the development of meaningful business relationships.

Ian was the founding partner of Evans Buchanan in 1992 and built the practice into an extremely well-regarded boutique advisory Firm. In 2011 Evans Buchanan merged with Moore Stephens Melbourne, where Ian retains an active leadership role within the Private Client division. Prior to this Ian was a partner of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu based in Melbourne for 18 years.

Ian is a Fellow member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia (FCA) and a Fellow member of The Australian Institute of Company Directors (FAICD).  Ian also holds a number of directorships and secretarial positions in private companies.
