John has built a very successful career providing accounting and taxation services to a portfolio of public and private clients covering a wide diversity of industry and investments. His diligent approach to understanding client objectives and implementing plans to attain those objectives has seen him recognized by many as an invaluable part of their advisory team. Amongst other strengths, John has assisted foreign controlled companies establishing operations in Australia.

John was a partner in the Australian firm of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu for 24 years, and in 1999 he joined Ian Evans to form Evans Buchanan, a leading Melbourne advisory Firm in the private and high net worth client market.

John is a Fellow of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia, a member of CPA Australia, a member of The Taxation Institute of Australia and a Registered Company Auditor. John also holds a number of directorships in private companies and foreign controlled entities.
