Professional Background

Over a thirty year career, Syd has been involved in both taxation administration with the Australian Taxation Office and in private practice.

During fourteen years with the Taxation Office, Syd filled both management and technical positions: the latter included the position of Senior Advising Officer. This position involved representing the Commissioner of Taxation in some of the most published litigation of the time.

Amongst the various management positions, he filled the role of Manager of Individuals Assessing and various team leader roles in other technical areas.

Since joining Moore Stephens in Perth , Syd has provided advice and leadership across all revenue areas including:
