Professional Background

With extensive experience across a multitude of industries and specialist skills in the areas of audit, assurance, risk management, business development and information technology, Mike joined Moore Stephens as a Director in 1994.

Now Principal of Assurance and Forensic Accounting for Moore Stephens, Mike manages both the assurance and forensic divisions of the firm in South East Queensland.

He is a skilled professional with over 30 years experience in the provision of audit and assurance services and with specific skills in the areas of strategic and operational planning, structures, budgeting, performance improvement, and specific    litigation assignments to a diverse group of companies, government agencies, organisations, not-for-profit entities and the legal profession.

Mike is an independent expert providing expert opinion reports in the provision of independent expert reports required under the Corporations Act and undertakes investigations in the areas of valuations, independent consultative services, fraud, and assessment of damages.

His professional integrity is relied upon by the legal profession to attend mediation conferences and  provide highly credible expert testimony in Court.
