Professional Background

Richard joined Moore Stephens in December 1999 and has progressed his career within the firm to manage a team of professionals responsible for servicing a broad portfolio of clients.  Richard was appointed a Principal with Moore Stephens in July 2007.

Richard ensures that his team work with their clients from both an operational and strategic perspective.  His specific technical expertise in taxation and financial reporting provides valuable insight when focusing on compliance and the deeper issues vital to enhancing business performance.

Richard has a proactive business style and stays up to date with industry trends and business developments ensuring he has a detailed understanding of the critical issues impacting clients' operations. Most recently Richard's focus has been the provisions of services to a suite of clients of primary production and property industries.  Richard also deals regularly with international and expatriate tax matters for a number of clients.

Richard is a member of the Moore Stephens' National Tax and Property Groups and is actively involved with the Institute of Chartered Accountants as a facilitator for the Chartered Accountants Program.  As a member of the Tax Institute of Australia, Richard acts as a speaker and is also a member of the Institute's education committee.
