Professional Background

Beginning her accounting career in 1978, Cathy is now a Senior Manager in the Moore Stephens' Ayr office.  Prior to joining Moore Stephens, Cathy had her own practice for 20 years.

Her 32 years of experience revolves around small business and taxation services, and allows her to offer expert advice in the areas of sole trading, partnerships, family trusts and companies.

The provision of advice ranges from general compliance work, which involves the preparation of Business Activity Statements, Financial Statements and tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships and individuals, to strategic business planning, cash flow management, profit projections and general business advice.

Placing great emphasis on high quality customer service, Cathy ensures her team are well-trained and kept up to date with industry trends and business development through the provision of in-house training and attending external seminars.

Additionally Cathy has extensive experience in the areas of Agriculture (cane, small crops, cattle, sheep), health (dental, pharmacy) and retail trade.
