Professional Background

Michael is an Audit Supervisor based in our Townsville office of Moore Stephens. Michael commenced with Moore Stephens in January 2009. He is responsible for assisting in the control and monitoring of any

assignment during fieldwork and ensuring that it is delivered in an efficient and timely manner. 

Michael had worked extensively, both nationally and internationally for Deloitte for a period of 6 years in the field of audit across various industries, providing statutory financial and compliance audits.  Michael  was also a member of the Quality Review team during his time at Deloitte's in which he ensured audit files complied with the firm set standards and the International Standards on Auditing.

Michael's understanding of financial and operational processes, attention to detail, analytical skills and ability to connect and develop relationships with

people at all organisational levels have gained him significant respect from both his clients and peers throughout his career.

Michael's industry expertise includes Local Government and Aboriginal Councils, internal audit and risk management audits, universities, port authorities, listed and unlisted public companies, private enterprise and not for profit organisations.
