Professional Background

Troy is on the Board of Directors of Moore Stephens (Queensland) Ltd, and is the Business Services Principal in the Townsville office.  He joined the firm in 1992 and has over 19 years' experience in taxation and business services in the North Queensland region.

With extensive experience in entrepreneurial services, Troy is the advisor for many small to medium sized private enterprises.  The provision of advice ranges from general compliance work, which involves the preparation of financial statements and tax returns for companies, trusts and partnerships operating in these businesses, through to business planning, cash flow management, profit projections and ongoing business advice.

Troy prides himself on offering the highest level of client service by providing all of his clients with prompt response times and being proactive to their needs.

Additionally, Troy reinforces this culture within his team, encouraging client relationships to be strengthened rather than just maintained.

Troy is an Executive of the Townsville Chamber of Commerce.  Furthermore, he is the Chairman of the Institute of Charted Accountants in the Townsville region and also works closely with James Cook   University School of Business.

He has extensive expertise in the areas of professional services, building and construction, retail & wholesale trade, tourism industries, motor dealerships, mining support industries, medical   specialists, property development and syndication and self managed superannuation funds.
