Professional Background

Rick has been a partner of Moore Stephens since 1987 and is currently chairman of the firm, as well as heading the Corporate Recovery Services Division.

With considerable experience in the areas of insolvency and rescue and resuscitation, Rick advises clients on appropriate remedial measures for companies in trouble, as well as accepting appointments from the court as an official liquidator. Rick is a hands on practitioner with a caring approach. His service delivery is distinguished by the way he ensures he is fully integrated with a project and directly accessible throughout the entire lifecycle of the process.

With over 14 years experience in litigation support, his expertise expands across a broad range of industries with a particular focus on the real estate industry.

Prior to joining the firm, Rick worked as a Special Investigator for the Corporate Affairs Commission. He also held the position of Director of Research in the Royal Commission into the affairs of the Nugan Hand Group of Companies.

Rick has a keen interest in community affairs. He is a board member of The Commercial Law Association and involved in the Parramatta City Chamber of Commerce and Industry Inc.

Outside the office, he enjoys surfing and maximising the time left to share with his family.
