Professional Background

Stewart joined Moore Stephens in 2000 bringing with him over 12 years chartered accounting experience.

A provider of an extensive range of audit and business services to small and medium enterprises, Stewart assists companies ranging from start up businesses to groups with turnovers in excess of $100 million per annum.

Stewart is familiar with international accounting reporting requirements through his work with a number of Australian subsidiaries of foreign controlled groups.

Stewart is experienced in preparing company valuations, due diligence reports and business plans for financial transactions and to assist with capital rising. He has acted as Investigating Accountant and Auditor on a number of capital raisings.

As a member of the Moore Stephens Litigation Support Group, he prepares valuations for commercial disputes and the analysis of economic loss.

Stewart's service style is defined by the way he applies a combination of technical knowledge and lateral thinking to look at the big picture from his clients' perspective. He applies a practical and hands on approach and is motivated by watching his clients grow to achieve their goals and peace of mind.

With an interest in the continued development and expansion of the firm, in recent years Stewart has been responsible for managing HR processes and staff training for the firm. Stewart has also recently been appointed as the Treasurer of the Parramatta Chamber of Commerce.

He has a keen interest in a variety of sports and enjoys boating and relaxing with his family.
