Professional Background

Alan joined Moore Stephens Sydney as a Director in December 2006 and was appointed a partner in 2010.

Prior to joining Moore Stephens in 2006, Alan worked in the corporate finance, tax and audit divisions of the "Big 4" accounting firms for 10 years following which he consulted to many ASX-listed organisations and private companies.

Alan has over 15 years experience in the following areas:

1. Valuations of businesses, intangible assets, options and financial instruments;
2. Corporate advice in relation to mergers & acquisitions, divestments and joint ventures;
3. Independent Expert's Reports for ASX-listed company transactions;
4. Expert Opinions for litigation proceedings; and
5. Tax, audit and assurance reviews.
