Professional Background

Martin is an Associate Director within the Business Services division. He focuses predominantly on providing Goods and Services Tax (GST) advice to clients in the property and construction Industry. He also has extensive experience in advising on the GST implications of cross border transactions involving software licence agreements.

He has undertaken a number of secondment roles to financial institutions to assist with the review of trust distributions and advise on the accuracy of data (for both GST and income tax purposes) produced by the current reporting systems.
In his role, Martin regularly assists in negotiations with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) in resolving taxation disputes. He has over eight years experience advising clients in a number of key areas of expertise including;
