Our History

On 1 July 2007, Moore Stephens (Brisbane) and Partners and Pickards BDS ("formally Pickard Associates") merged to form Moore Stephens Queensland.

Over time the firm has evolved and built a reputation for the quality and service enriched by our professionals.  Moore Stephens Queensland now has more than 230 staff, including 13 Principals who offer integrity and commitment to clients.

Moore Stephens Queensland now operates in six locations across the state including Brisbane, Townsville, Cairns, Innisfail, Burdekin and Toowoomba.  This geographic spread enables us to share expertise, knowledge and appropriate skill set to ensure our clients receive the best advice and quality service wherever they do business in Queensland.

We have a strong history and commitment to Queensland and we are widely regarded as a leading provider of technical advice, products and solutions to Australian business.  Moore Stephens produces industry adopted texts on various subjects, including financial reporting and disclosure products, with a number of these texts listed as required reading for students undertaking their CA and CPA exams.

Today Moore Stephens is the seventh largest accounting and business services firm in Queensland building satisfaction in providing a suite of services to predominantly small and medium sized enterprises. Moore Stephens also provides holistic wealth creation and wealth management services to people in whatever facet of life they are currently in, whether it be starting their first job, buying their first business, career progression or entering retirement.
