Moore Stephens is again holding separate workshops specifically relating to Budgeting and releasing our 2017 Budget Model and Manual in March 2017.  This year we are holding two workshops on 1 March and 10 March. The Budgeting Workshops are developed specifically for people working for Western Australian Local Governments.

As was the case in the past, the Budget Model will no longer form part of our Annual Financial Reporting Workshop (normally held in May).

New Initiative - Fundamentals and Advanced Sessions

This year we are offering a new approach to our Budget training. We will run concurrent sessions for fundamental and advanced content. Participants are able to select the workshop session that meets their needs and level of experience.

  • Budget estimates

Errors and tips

Please note, you will only be able to register for one (1) of these sessions, either Fundamental or Advanced.
This year, we continue to improve our Budget Model by:

  • Adding functionality to the spreadsheet;
  • Adding disclosure notes for less common events; and
  • Expanded explanatory text interleaved with the model.

The cost of the workshop will be $812.00 + GST for each initial registrant. Additional registrants from each Council will recieve a 25% discount at $609.00 + GST per person.

In order to access the discount, the bookings must be made as a group booking as opposed to individually.
